Easy to process bronze clay;

Works just like silver clay from Art Clay. It shrinks 10-13%.

Clay content 90% copper and 10% tin.

Advice is bake off in the oven.

Bake-off instructions Oven:

According to the manufacturer’s baking instructions, it can be baked in 1x. In activated charcoal, in a cold oven in 2 hours to 820 degrees. In testing, this often went well, but sometimes not. To be on the safe side, we recommend the 2-step method in activated carbon.

Step 1: Place 3 cm of activated carbon on the bottom of a metal container. Bake for 10 minutes

500 °C Let cool in the oven to room temperature.

Step 2: Place the piece in the activated carbon and fill the container with activated carbon, at least 2 cm over the piece. Place the container in the cold oven and fire at 820 °C for at least 1 hour. Allow to cool in the oven to room temperature.

With a gas burner

There are types of bronze clay that can be fired with a hand torch This requires more patience than firing silver clay. Silver clay needs about 2 minutes of annealing, bronze clay at least 10 minutes.

Bronze clays suitable for torch firing are:

Art Clay Bronze,
Prometheus regular bronze clay
Promethens Sunny bronze.

The other varieties can only be baked in a special oven
